Can I Return A Costume I Purchased?
If you are not satisfied with the item for any reason, with the original packaging in place. However, you are responsible for all shipping charges plus a 15% restocking fee. All returns for any reason must be post marked within 4 days from the receipt of the package. All returns must be received in new/unused condition with all of the original packaging. All refunds are subject to inspection and will be issued at Spot Lites discretion only. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only, not including shipping.

  • If the item does not fit, then you may return the item for another size, if available. You will be responsible for all shipping charges. If there is no other size available, then you may either choose another item or return the original item. All returns for any reason must be post marked within 4 days from the receipt of the package. You would then be responsible for all shipping charges plus the 15% restocking fee. All refunds are subject to inspection and will be issued at Spot Lite discretion only.
     
  • If an item was shipped in error or is defective, you may ship the item back. If the claim is allowed, a full refund will be issued including shipping. During the month of December, shipping times are not guaranteed and Spot Lite will not issue refunds for late deliveries. All refunds are subject to inspection and will be issued at Spot Lite discretion only.
     
  • Seasonal Return Black Out Periods - Seasonal Items may not be returned and RMA numbers will not be issued for Seasonal Items during the period of time beginning 7 days before the holiday and ending 14 days after the holiday. All items are considered to be seasonal for Halloween.
     
  • Items that cannot be returned. These items include: Special Orders, Masks, Make Up, Wigs, Stockings, Socks, Undergarments and Hats.

Please note: costume styles are subject to change without notice, due to the manufacturer's production. These changes, no matter how slight, are beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The Manufacturers do not always notify us of these variations. We will reflect any changes to the costumes in the website descriptions and images as soon as we become aware of them. Thank you for your understanding with this issue.

Please note - that all returns must be sent via a traceable method. If you mail your return, it must have delivery confirmation on it. It is your (the customer’s) responsibility to insure the returned item(s) in the event of loss or damage. Orders returned via mail without a delivery confirmation are considered unauthorized returns; and spotlitecostumes.com will not be responsible for refunding these returned items, if there is no way to confirm receipt in our warehouse.

No item can be returned without prior authorization. You must contact Spot Lite and obtain a return authorization code. All unauthorized returns will be refused. All returns must have a RAN # (Return Authorization Number) clearly printed on the outside of the box. A RAN can be obtained by calling us at phone 1-918-553-2013 or e-mailing us at returns@spotlitecostumes.com .

Can I Return A Costume I Purchased for Halloween?
Because we are seasonal business, no returns will be accepted between October 21 - November 4 (of each year). All returns must be RECEIVED in our warehouse by October 21st (due to the seasonal nature of Halloween merchandise). All orders placed or delivered on or after October 21 are final. Our regular return policy applies to orders returned before October 21st and placed after November 4th. All returns with authorization prior to October 21st, must be postmarked within 4 days. All other returns will be refused.

How Can I Order My Costume and Still Return It if I Don't Like It or It Doesn't Fit?
We suggest that you place you order early (before the 5th of October) to ensure that you will receive it and can still return it (if needed) prior to the 21st of October cutoff date. We want you to be happy with your purchase, so place your order early, in case you need another size or costume, we can issue you a RAN (Return Authorization Number) and place a new order. Please remember, we can only do this if we receive your return before the cutoff date (October 21st).

How Do I Know My Purchase Is Confirmed?
When you place an order online, we will send you an e-mail to confirm the receipt of your order. If you have received the e-mail and have not received your order within the expected time frame, then please send an e-mail to sales@spotlitecostumes.com . Please include your order number in the body of the e-mail. You can also call us at 918-553-2013

Order Cancellations:
Please also note that due to our automated systems, orders cannot be cancelled. This is especially true during our Halloween Season: October 21 – November 3, (of each year). 
Please accept the package and follow the return policies if you do not want the item.  All applicable return policies will still apply. Shipping and Handling charges will NOT be refunded on returned orders. 
**Please note UPS charges us a $10-$15 fee for packages refused, this fee will be billed to your credit card.  Next Day and Second Day charges will apply to packages that are refused and sent back to us. (I.E. If you order 2nd Day air and shipping charges are $20 and then you refuse the package we will charge an additional $20 for the charges UPS charges us to return the package)

Do you charge sales tax?
Orders shipping to Oklahoma will be charged appropriate sales tax. Orders shipping everywhere else within the United States will not be charged tax.
